Fraserburgh Seafooods was established in 1998 as a partnership between G&J Jack (fish processors) and Michael Mair. Although the company is relatively "new" the senior personnel within the company have many years experience in the fish / shellfish industry both for the continent and the home market.
Fraserburgh Seafoods´ primary objective was to process Scottish prawns (langoustines) from the abundant local supply. This was quickly achieved and due to customer demands we soon expanded our range to include king scallops. (Pecten Maximus)
All our shellfish is sourced from Scottish ports and processed in our own premises. We believe this is the only way to keep a close eye on the quality we are looking for.
As a company we are constantly looking at alternatives to replace non-eco friendly materials.
